Mission

The mission of CAS is to deliver professional management support services to progressive agribusiness clients, thereby assisting them in achieving their long-term growth and profit goals

The majority of the locally owned and controlled businesses serving agriculture have been in business for years. They are proven survivors of many years of change in agriculture.

The current pace and direction of change across the US Grain Belt promises to be another survival test for agribusiness.  But is survival alone, the most important test of time?

Agribusiness managers, has your leadership team made the survive or thrive distinction?

In today’s fast changing agribusiness environment there is a big difference.  The stakes are higher.  The plans and approaches to the future are very different.    Have you made a decision as to which your business will do in the future? … Simply survive or thrive

In the recent past, survival for a few more years could often be accomplished by making only a few modest changes.  But in today’s highly competitive and consolidating business client there is huge risk in being complacent and happy with what has worked in the past. A limited change survival approach to the future carries big risk for rapid erosion into a dead end plan.  The management, leadership, planning, and decision making processes that have created success in the past simply are unlikely to provide the results you need to thrive in the future.

Given the choice, the best agribusiness leaders will define and execute strategic decisions that position their agribusiness to thrive in the future.   Certainly thriving is both more work and more change.  But the rewards will be great for those willing to accept the challenge and make and execute bold strategic decisions.
